North Baddesley is a large village in Test Valley, immediately south-east of Romsey on the way towards Chandler's Ford and Southampton. Though a separate village, it is closely linked to Romsey for shopping, services, and transport, and shares much of the same local area.
## Village Life
North Baddesley has its own local shops, schools, and community facilities, including Norman Rodaway Recreation Ground and local sports clubs. The village grew substantially in the second half of the 20th century and today is a busy residential community on the edge of the Southampton conurbation.
## Getting Around
North Baddesley sits on the A27 between Romsey and Chandler's Ford, with good links to the M27 and M3 and towards Southampton and Eastleigh. Romsey town centre and railway station are a short drive away, and regular bus services connect the village to Romsey and Southampton.
